Summary:

Operate a variety of machinery, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and adapting to changing production needs. This role is ideal for someone experienced with machines, bandsaws, and forklifts. We offer on-the-job training for technical skills like die-cutting, flexographic printing, interpreting CAD drawings, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various machinery, including:
• Die-cutting presses (automatic and manual)
• Flexographic printing presses
• Band saws
• Slotters, slitters, and gluers
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
• Interpret CAD drawings and work orders to set up equipment for production.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Use measurement tools, including tape measures, to ensure precise production.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed (bonus if already certified).
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Adapt to changing priorities and tasks based on operational needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and regularly lift 50 lbs.
• The ability to read a tape measurer accurately.
• Previous bandsaw experience is highly preferred.
• Previous experience operating industrial machinery. Die-cutters, printing presses, or similar equipment is highly preferred but not necessary.
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred but onsite training is available.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand for 8 hours, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, drive a forklift, and walk safely in congested areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
