Position Overview:
The Field Manager is the primary point of contact for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring excellent customer service across multiple locations. Utilizing our remote platform, they will interact with customers digitally while managing onsite activities to guarantee smooth operations and exceptional tenant experiences. This role is pivotal in maintaining facility standards, driving revenue, and fostering tenant satisfaction.
On-site Operations Management:
- Supervise daily operations of multiple self-storage facilities, including maintenance, security, and administrative tasks.
- Oversee facility cleanliness and general upkeep to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants.
- ·Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Customer Interaction:
- Utilize remote platform to interact with customers digitally, addressing inquiries, processing rentals, and handling account management tasks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants to foster tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy, seeking satisfactory resolutions to maintain tenant satisfaction and retention.
Revenue Growth and Management:
- Implement strategies to drive revenue growth, including rental rate optimization, upselling of ancillary services, and effective management of occupancy levels.
- Monitor rental activity and delinquencies, taking proactive measures to maximize revenue and minimize losses.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, including safety protocols and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential safety hazards and security risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, property management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in onsite management, preferably in the self-storage industry or related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with customers and staff.
- Proficiency in using remote platforms and digital tools for customer interaction and facility management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Assist with facility security measures, including monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting any suspicious activity to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by promptly addressing maintenance issues and ensuring their satisfaction with the storage facility.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
