Primary Responsibilities:
- Position: Our client is seeking experienced electrical journeymen to join their team for commercial and multi-residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Duties:
- Conduct thorough electrical checks, perform detailed reviews, and establish reliable electrical connections to ensure system integrity.
- Assess project requirements and select the most appropriate course of action, considering all project constraints and limitations.
- Write comprehensive reports on electrical maintenance activities, including detailed inspections, test results, final situation assessments, and step-by-step solutions for each job or situation encountered.
- Install and secure the performance of electrical components such as wires, plugs, panel boards, switchgear, switchboards, and similar equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment by strictly following all company rules and OSHA safety standards, and by promoting a culture of safety among team members.
- Commute between various job locations as required, and take responsibility for the standard tools and equipment needed to perform assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Participate actively in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
- Comply with all service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements to deliver high-quality electrical services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Provide professional, respectful, and timely service to all clients, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships.
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
- Completion of vocational training or an electrician’s apprenticeship program.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- In-depth understanding of advanced principles of industrial, commercial, and residential electrical systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
