Position: Electrician

Summary: The Electrician will be responsible for installing complex commercial electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The desired candidate will be able to do the following:

• Wire 2 & 3 phase.
• Ability to read & understand blueprints and wire a building with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Posses a can do attitude.
• Have 3 - 5 years of commercial electrical experience, preferably in quick service restaurants.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Install electrical system in modular units.
• Drill holes through wood as well as steel.
• May be asked to travel to job site as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties.
• Maintains work area (kept clean and organized).
• Follows work orders and instructions on correct assembly of building components.
• Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns.
• Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed.
• Maintains a good attendance record as it is critical for success.
• Demonstrates a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools
• Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Able to work 8 hours on your feet.
• Must be able to safely manage repetitive use of ladders and stairs.
• Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment daily.
• Ability to be trained and take direction respectfully.
• Ability to work in a team with others.

Qualifications:

• Highschool or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the US.
• (3) years experience in commercial electrical field required.
• Must know how to use power tools (drill, impact).
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Ability to do a material takeoff.
• Must be honest, have a good work ethic, and play well with others.
• Must be able to crouch, bend, and work overhead for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
