As we continue to grow, so does our demand for hardworking, dependable people to join our team. We are currently seeking Sanitation to join our team.
Sanitation Job Responsibilities:
- Washes windows and mirrors.
- Takes out the trash and recycling.
- Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
- Wipes down and sanitizes offices and cubicles.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms and cafeterias.
- Follows instructions from Operational leadership and HR.
- Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuums floors.
- Uses common cleaning tools
- Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools.
- Completes minor repairs, like switching lightbulbs and unclogging toilets.
- Notifies HR when major repairs are needed.
- Notifies HR when supplies are running low.
- Fills out janitorial checklists at the end of every shift.
- Locks the doors at the end of night shifts.
- Follows safety rules and precautions.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Sanitation Qualifications and Skills:
- Works well independently and has strong time management skills.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from leadership.
- Collaborates with other sanitation employees and maintenance workers as needed.
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years of professional cleaning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Working Conditions:
Employees will typically work indoors, often on their feet for extended periods, may need to lift heavy items regularly, and will be exposed to a non-climate controlled environment, potentially with varying temperatures depending on the location; they must also follow strict safety protocols to handle materials properly and wear appropriate protective gear when necessary.
Shift:
The sanitation position is for 1st shift. Monday-Friday 8 hours shifts with possible mandatory overtime. Days, Weekends, and Holidays required.
