What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Guest Services position at Boy Scouts of America?
Job Summary : Carry out commercial cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned. Cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated facility areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc. Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
This is a physically demanding job, that requires working with cleaning chemicals and machinery.

1. Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state / local, federal, and camp regulations
2. Maintain a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others
3. Cleaning overnight accommodations (bunkhouses and bungalows), offices and other camp buildings.
4. Emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
5. Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms
6. Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment
7. Follow procedures for proper disposal of trash including transporting it to designated areas
8. Report maintenance concerns in a timely manner
9. Ensure buildings and other facility assets are secured.
10. Serve as a role model; abide by BSA code of conduct, BSA Operating Principles, and Live and Honor the Scout Oath & Scout Law
11. Other duties as assigned
