Tasting Room Staff/ Bartender
Are you passionate about wine and spirits and enjoy interacting with people? Boyden Valley Winery and Spirits is re-opening their tasting room and terrace this summer. We’re looking to hire a part-time, (28hrs/week), tasting room staff/bartender to greet customers, mix cocktails, sell wine and spirits and manage a fun and lively bar. The time commitment is Thursday-Sunday 11am-5pm at our winery and distillery in Cambridge, Vermont. You’d be working directly with the owners and be a part of a collaborative and dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and answer questions about our different wines and liquors
- Provide tastings, mix cocktails and make sure customers have a great experience
- Assist with merchandising and setting up the tasting room
- Support weekly promotions and specials
- Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and working efficiently
- Order supplies as necessary
Qualifications:
- Highly personable; you enjoy working with customers and chatting with tourists
- Over 21 and licensed to pour alcohol
- At least 2 years of retail experience
- Able to operate a Square POS
- Able to lift 35lbs.
