Key Responsibilities :

Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming approach & assist with their meat orders

Accurately process orders, ensuring highest quality, correct quantity and price

Engage customers with suggestive selling to promote products and drive sales

Handle returns and exchanges according to store procedures

Cut and grind meat to meet Boyer’s standards of excellence

Keep display cases full, clean, and attractive while rotating stock

Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and safe for sale

Maintain a clean, organized department, adhering to food safety & sanitation procedures

Follow all store and department policies to ensure quality and safety

Work closely with the Meat Manager to meet dept. goals and maintain operations

Perform additional tasks as assigned to support department success

Essential Qualifications / Skills :

Food Prep Experience Preferred

Ability to read, write, and do basic math

Strong attention to detail, including smell, sight, and color recognition

Clear communication skills and excellent customer service

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with precision

Safety-conscious, with the ability to work efficiently & safely in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Equipment Operated (including but not limited to) :

Meat Saw, Grinder, Cuber, Hand Wrapper, Scales, Knives, Cleaning Utensils, etc.
