We are seeking a passionate and experienced Daycare Director to lead and manage our center. We are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the daycare center, ensuring compliance with all state licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of teachers and staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the daycare's philosophy and goals.
- Curriculum and Program Development:
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Ensure the learning environment is engaging, stimulating, and safe.
- Stay up-to-date on early childhood education best practices and incorporate them into the program.
- Parent Communication and Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing regular communication about their child's progress and development.
- Address parent concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize parent events and activities to foster a sense of community.
- Administrative and Financial Management:
- Manage the daycare's budget, including tracking expenses, generating reports, and ensuring financial stability.
- Oversee enrollment and registration processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, ordering supplies, and maintaining the facility.
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure the daycare center meets all health and safety standards, including maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, administering first aid and medication as needed, and conducting safety drills.
- Develop and implement emergency procedures.
- Stay informed about health and safety regulations and update practices accordingly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
