Electrician

Overview

The role of the Electrician is to assist in the installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and coordinate electrical equipment and electrical operations relating to the operation of the resort.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to):Maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixturesAbility to work independently or as a part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skillsSupport high and low voltage electrical work under supervisionResidential and commercial electrical knowledgeAble to read schematics and blueprintsCoordination with contracted Resort Master Electrician as needed to complete task

Qualifications

Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc.)Experience in residential/commercial construction desiredProven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferredHave a working knowledge of how to operate lifting devices, hand tools, and power toolsWorking knowledge of electrical switch gear, motor starters, transformers, generators, relay logic, PLC, VFD a plusOral and Written communication skillsAbility to learn quickly through oral instruction or observation

 

 

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Climb Ladders
• Work in all weather conditions
• Work at heights

  Responsibilities: This role will be overseen by the Area Manager and will be expected to perform their duties satisfactorily with minimal direct supervision   Work Environment: This role will require work inside and outside, supporting the functions of the resort.  Position type and expected hours of work: 40-hour work week  Must have valid driver's license
