We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Employee Shuttle Driver to transport employees between designated company locations and other key sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, excellent driving skills, and the ability to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for passengers. This position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and well-being of our employees as they commute to and from the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Transport Employees Safely: Operate the company shuttle bus or van in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring timely arrivals and departures for scheduled trips.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to all employees by being friendly, professional, and attentive to their needs.
- Route Management: Follow established routes, pick-up and drop-off schedules, and communicate any potential delays or issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on the shuttle vehicle, including ensuring cleanliness, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and reporting any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety protocols while driving, ensuring the safety of all passengers at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain records of daily shuttle operations, including vehicle condition, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Assist with Loading and Unloading: Help employees board and disembark the shuttle, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Communication: Report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. Maintain open communication with other staff members to coordinate schedules and manage changes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (with no major traffic violations or accidents).
- Chauffer License required, or abilty to obtain license
- Previous experience as a shuttle driver, bus driver, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees of various backgrounds.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe driving practices.
- Punctuality and time-management skills to adhere to shuttle schedules.
