Event Set Up is a seasonal position. Candidate is responsible for the implementation of all event setups; including furniture, and/or equipment necessary for corporate meetings, dinners, social gatherings, and weddings. Responsibilities
- Set up for meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linens, etc.)
- Understanding of Event Orders and diagrams and what is required for the event with little direction
- Report and follow up on all maintenance issues in meeting rooms and surrounding areas
- Reset meeting spaces to the original set up after each event
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of public spaces and meeting rooms
- Keep storage areas tidy and well organized
- Report any damaged event items
- Keep a professional attitude and demeanor during all guest interactions
- Problem solve last minute requests and changes
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays
- Overtime is required at times
