Overview
Assist and respond with installation, maintenance, and repairs of building maintenance work such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Arrive on time and ready for work, according to schedule set by the Property Maintenance Manager.
- Respond to building and facility emergencies.
- Assist with repair and or repair of building maintenance work such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC.
- Initiate and maintain general cleanliness on projects and repairs.
- Assist other resort departments as needed.
- General building repair.
- Operate company vehicles.
- Communicate with co-workers and facility maintenance crew effectively and respectively.
- Guest friendly attitude.
- Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
- Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
- Assist in set up and breakdown of functions and events.
- Handle projects as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School education, related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a professional manner.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills are required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to detect and solve practical problems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Resort Certification for any used equipment.
