Overview
Our Food and Beverage Receiver is a key support role to the effective operations of our on-mountain restaurants, often working independently to provide an exceptional guest and team member experience. Responsibilities
Picture yourself being the Receiver at Big Sky Resort and having the opportunity to:
- Be responsible for receiving product orders, and ensuring invoice accuracy, safety of cargo, and machinery
- Inspecting product for damage and quality, communicating with vendors to adjust invoices as necessary
- Organization and cleanliness of store rooms, including product rotation and labeling
- Be responsible for safe and efficient operation of snowcats, conducting daily machine inspections
- Driving snow cat from Base Area to on mountain restaurants, while following all safety protocols and policies
- Stocking firewood, starting fire in fireplace
- Working outside in all weather conditions, clearing snow from deck with shovel and/or snowblower
- Placing and removing patio furniture
- Taking trash, recycling and empty kegs down to loading dock
- Keeping exterior of facility clean and free of debris and trash
- Transporting team members in snow cat as needed
- Filling all fuel as needed
- Follow and enforce safety procedures and COVID 19 cleaning policies and guidelines
- Communicate opportunities with Restaurant General Manager, Executive Chef, and Vehicle Maintenance team in a timely manner
- Facilitate daily duties and disciplines using excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate your cleanliness standards maintaining impeccable order and organization
- Participate in outlet meetings and training opportunities
- Accept and provide feedback and coaching regularly to support our team members, General Manager, and Executive Chef
- Learn and follow our Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics to better serve our teams and guests
- Aid in other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Recipe for Success
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to operate a snow cat following all company safety rules
- Have extremely high standards and an acute attention to detail
- Display a strong sense of urgency and responsibility while assuring consistent achievement of quality standards
- Show a high level of personal initiative and action and results driven
- Excel in an environment with changing conditions under limited supervision
- Ability to work within established standards and procedures
- Be available to work early mornings and night shifts, weekends and holidays
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds over head
