What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lift Maintenance Mechanic Helper position at Boyne Resorts?
Overview
Big Sky Resort is looking for a self-starter who enjoys working with their hands. This is an opportunity to help the Lift Maintenance team during the summer, preparing, fixing, and fine tuning for our winter season. The Helper position is an entry level role with the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in maintaining aerial and surface lifts.
Responsibilities
- Desire to learn and be involved in any duties required in the process of maintaining ski lifts by following direction well and perform tasks under the direction of an experienced mechanic.
- Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time, use ladders and work at variable heights (15-70 ft above ground). Lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Maintain a positive attitude consistently, including during high stress situations. Able to work concurrently with all Resort staff and encourage a productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a lift operator is preferred
- Valid Driver's License is required
- Enjoy working outdoors and in variable weather conditions
