What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mountain Bike Rental Tech position at Boyne Resorts?
Overview
Big Sky Resort is looking for a kind customer service driven candidate who enjoys interacting with people and creating memorable guest experiences. Our Mountain Bike Rental Technicians will be the front line of interactions guest have when the come to inquire about rental and coaching options. The ideal candidate will help prepare guests for transformational experiences on the mountain by providing them with trail knowledge and outfitting them with proper bike equipment They will help support the rest of the Mountain Bike Rental Team with knowledge and comfort fixing and maintaining the rental fleet.
Responsibilities
Handle sales transactions
Assist guests in bike selection and orientation along with helmet and pad outfitting
Provide information and support regarding biking at Big Sky Resort
Assist with bike and trail maintenance
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Position requires cash handling, responsible for expensive equipment and confidential information
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous downhill and cross-country mountain biking experience
- Knowledge and experience in bike maintenance and repair
