What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Mountain Facilities Maintenance Technician position at Boyne Resorts?
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual to join our ON MOUNTAIN maintenance team! Applicants must have a strong work ethic and basic mechanical skills along with a friendly/positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt. Must work well as a team and have strong communication skills. Position is responsible for the general upkeep of all on mountain buildings including Lift/Vehicle maintenance shops, restaurants, bathrooms, lift shacks and snowmaking facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all exterior condition on all ON MOUNTAIN buildings
- Maintain all interior components and ensure they are functional.
- Monitor and mitigate any excessive snow accumulations on buildings for structural integrity and safety concerns
- Communicate with all team members on pending projects and repair status
- Work with outside contractor for any out sourced projects
- Consistently following through with projects and tasks assigned by supervisors
- Establish and maintain inventory of needed parts/equipment
- Perform annual preventative maintenance on all on mountain building and equipment
Qualifications
- Must be a strong skier or snowboarder to access all on mountain locations
- Previous maintenance/construction work experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
