We are a local flower shop known for creating stunning, unique floral arrangements for every occasion. With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, we’re seeking an experienced freelance floral designer to join our team for this busy, high-energy week of crafting beautiful designs for our customers.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled floral designer with hands-on experience working in a flower shop during holiday rushes, specifically Valentine’s Day. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, the ability to work under pressure, and experience creating arrangements that delight our customers. If you love working with flowers and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Create custom floral arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces for Valentine's Day orders
- Work with customers to ensure their special requests are met (if applicable)
- Prepare and arrange flowers for walk-in customers
- Assist with organizing and preparing flowers for delivery
- Help maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations during the busy holiday period
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a floral designer, especially during busy holidays like Valentine’s Day and Mother's Day
- Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail and color coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work long hours, including some evenings, to meet demand
- Excellent customer service skills and team collaboration
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
