Job Summary
Established Fire Protection Company seeking Fire Alarm Technician. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years in Inspection, installation, repair, or service of Fire Alarm Systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Installation of fire alarm systems
- Troubleshoot wiring and equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fire alarm systems
- Programming of fire alarm equipment
- On call rotation
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in the fire alarm, electrical, or low voltage industry
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Ability to work with crew as assigned
- Read and comprehend building plans
- Good driving record
- Basic computer skills
- NICET certification required
- Michigan Fire Alarm Specialty License required or
- Michigan Journeyman's License required
