Job Summary

Established Fire Protection Company seeking Fire Alarm Technician. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years in Inspection, installation, repair, or service of Fire Alarm Systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Installation of fire alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot wiring and equipment issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fire alarm systems
  • Programming of fire alarm equipment
  • On call rotation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the fire alarm, electrical, or low voltage industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work with crew as assigned
  • Read and comprehend building plans
  • Good driving record
  • Basic computer skills
  • NICET certification required
  • Michigan Fire Alarm Specialty License required or
  • Michigan Journeyman's License required
