The Boys and Girls Club of Benton County is seeking enthusiastic, responsible individuals to join our team! Our goal is to provide a safe, positive environment for members during out-of-school times to promote Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.
This part-time opportunity requires you to be available Monday - Friday from 2:30 – 7:00 pm. Must have transportation to and from work, be reliable, honest, and be able to work with students. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others.
1. Participate in Pre-Employment Training.
2. Work as a team with other staff members to ensure all members are well cared for and supervised at all times.
3. Promote and stimulate interest and participation of all members in activities.
4. Greet parents and/or care providers at drop-off and pick up each day. Remember that you are representing our program and act accordingly. Answer any questions they have or direct them to a supervisor.
5. Assist in the planning and implementation of a daily program/grant funded programs that will meet the needs of the members in attendance; set up the program, project, and activity areas as needed.
6. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for members.
7. Attend and participate in all staff meetings and training.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with youth, preferred
- Ability to plan, organize and implement recreational activities.
