Position Overview:

Provide safe and efficient transportation of club youth, staff and volunteers after school to the Boys and Girls Club facility. Support occasional field trips during the school year to local areas and during summer programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure a healthy and safe environment for members, staff and volunteers while loading, riding, and disembarking the Boys & Girls Club vehicle.
  • Report and document incidents that occur while transporting members.
  • Abides by Driver Safety and all applicable organizational policies.
  • Work with staff on special events and field trips.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess a high school diploma.
  • Possess a valid “Class B” or “CDL Driver’s License” with passenger certificate.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass required Drug and Alcohol testing.
  • Must pass Background Check
  • Ability to work with club members and staff in an educational and professional environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision and in a self-sufficient manner.
