We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and futures of our students. You will create a positive and engaging learning environment, foster intellectual growth, and inspire a love for learning.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement lesson plans for program participants (Middle-High School), with emphasis in reading and math.
- Facilitate initial placement pre-testing and post-testing for growth measurements.
- Facilitate lessons Monday-Friday from during our After School Care term.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment at the Boys and Girls Club.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students.
- Oversee academic progress of participants in reading and mathematics.
- Oversee character development through one-on-one and small group sessions.
Requirements :
Job Types : Part-time, Temporary
Pay : $25.00 per hour
Expected hours : 20 hours per week
