Job Summary:
The Transportation Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for safely transporting club members from school to club and to/from field trip destinations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive club buses to transport members to and from school and field trips
- Ensure the safety of members at all times, adhering to applicable laws, policies, and regulations
- Develop and implement programs to promote the well-being and development of club members
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to achieve program goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Valid State class B CDL driver's license with appropriate endorsements
- CDL Commercial Medical Examination Report
- High School Diploma/GED or college degree, with 6 months to 2 years program delivery experience
Working Conditions:
This role requires occasional weekend and evening work to support organization's fundraising events and activities. The Transportation Specialist must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
The Transportation Specialist must be able to stand for up to four hours per day, have good eyesight and hearing, and be able to implement programs. Skills essential for success include speaking, writing, and knowledge of the computer.
