Job Description- This is a part-time position
- The ideal applicant should have availability Monday through Friday 1:30pm - 6:00pm.
The Boys & Girls Club of East Providence is seeking applicants to assist after school pre -chool care onsite at Oldham elementary school in East Providence.
Applicants MUST have:
*Previous experience working with youth
* Hold a high school diploma and college credits preferred
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
Program Development and Implementation
- Effective and strong supervision skills; thoughtful and creative programming activities; positive and patient growth mindset; attention to detail; strong and consistent communication with parents/caregivers.
- Monitor and evaluate programs and activities to ensure health and safety of members, keep accurate data points as necessary.
- Ensure a productive work environment by participating in all scheduled staff meetings.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May participate in special programs and/or events
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma, college credits preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
