Summary

The Boys & Girls Club of East Providence is seeking a Camp Director to oversee our summer camp programs. This role is vital in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for youth participants. The Camp Director will play a key role in shaping the camp experience and ensuring that all activities align with our mission of supporting underserved youth.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee all aspects of the summer camp program.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all campers and staff.
• Recruit, train, and supervise camp staff and volunteers.
• Develop engaging educational activities that promote personal growth and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and community partners.
• Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of campers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred.
• Experience in education administration or youth program management is essential.
• Strong communication skills with experience working with diverse groups of students.
• Ability to create an inclusive environment that fosters learning and growth.
• Leadership experience in camp settings or similar environments is a plus.
