Are you passionate about water safety and teaching others to swim? We’re looking for an energetic Lifeguard/Swim Instructor to join our awesome team at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem!
As a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor, you’ll not only keep our pool safe but also help others dive in and learn the art of swimming. If you love working with kids, making waves, and having fun while doing it, this is the perfect gig for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Safety First: Ensure the safety of all swimmers while monitoring the pool and surrounding areas.
- Teach & Inspire: Lead swim lessons for kids of all skill levels and help them develop confidence in the water.
- Keep it Fun: Create a positive, supportive, and engaging environment for swimmers and families.
- Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Work alongside our amazing aquatics team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Lifeguard Experience: Previous lifeguard or swim instruction experience is a big plus!
- Certification: Current lifeguard certification (or willing to get certified).
- Great with Kids: A passion for teaching and working with children of all ages.
- Team Player: Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
- Positive Attitude: A smile that’s as big as the waves you’ll be making!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
