Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored service plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and management to individuals facing emergencies or significant life challenges.
- Offer counseling services, including addiction counseling, to help clients navigate personal struggles.
- Mentor and supervise clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to connect clients with necessary resources, including Section 8 housing assistance and workforce development programs.
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with agency policies and regulations.
- Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the healthcare system, including Medicare services.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in social work practices.
Experience
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure is preferred.
- Experience in childcare, mentoring, supervising, or crisis intervention is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with social work principles, crisis management techniques, and community resources is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a client-centered approach.
