Title: Concession Staff
Department: Concessions
Reports to: Concessions Manager
Primary Function: Position requires an individual to have customer service skills, positive attitude, food preparation, assist in preparing location and area for a day of operation, responsible for accurate accounting and all transactions and assist with location inventory controls.
Key Roles:
- Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
- Follow rules and regulations of the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen.
- Provide great customer service.
- Interact with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner.
Relationship:
- Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with customers, other concessionaires, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise counsel.
- External: Maintains contact with the general public.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic working knowledge of food and beverage.
- Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money.
- Basic food preparation.
- Ability to follow directions and effectively perform work.
- Positive attitude and neat appearance.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This position requires stooping and lifting, substantial standing and walking.
