Overview
The Boys and Girls Club is seeking dedicated and passionate Full-Time Preschool Staff to join our team. Must be 21 years or older. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Our staff will support the development of preschool-aged children through engaging activities, effective communication, and positive behavior management. Part Time - 1-6pm Daily
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote early intervention and childhood development.
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior positively.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
- Support children's learning in various subjects, including math and other foundational skills.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team approach to education and care.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and childhood development principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.
- A passion for working with preschool-aged children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
- Familiarity with basic math concepts suitable for preschool learning is an advantage.
