Availability: Seasonal – May 26th through August 1st. Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 6:00PM

Job Summary:
The Head Lifeguard at Boys & Girls Clubs is responsible for overseeing the safety and well-being of all members. This position involves leading a team of lifeguards, ensuring safety protocols are being followed, and ensuring a positive experience for club members.
Supervision:
- Lead and supervise a team of lifeguards.
- Provide guidance and support to lifeguards in enforcing policies and maintaining a safe environment.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for club members and staff
Emergency Response:
- Monitor aquatic areas to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Administer first aid and CPR as necessary, coordinating with emergency medical services when needed.
- Document and report incidents, near-misses, and any violations of safety policies.
Qualifications
Position Requirements (include, but are not limited to):
- This position requires a current lifeguard certification.
- Previous lifeguarding experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Be a positive role model for our Club members.
- Implement additional duties as assigned.
- Shallow Water Lifeguarding course prerequisite skills
Salary : $20 - $23
