The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley is hiring Youth Development Specialist to work this upcoming summer at our Appleton and Menasha Branches.
$15.00 - $18.00/hour
Monday – Friday, no weekends

The Youth Development Specialist will be responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating activities in a variety of areas, such as academic, computer lab, arts and crafts, physical education, good character and Citizenship, and health and wellness.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- College or teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of youth development
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
- Ability and desire to work with youth ages 6-18 in a variety of environments, including small group and large group settings
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.

Working Conditions
May work in environments not temperature controlled including outdoors, with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Frequently position self to maintain eye level with young people of various ages and sit and stand for long periods of time. Must function effectively in loud environments with high energy for long periods of time. Occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use; frequent stressful conditions possible (cardiovascular). Reasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with documented disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Salary : $15 - $18
