POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Business Analyst to join our Impact & Measurement Team. The Business Analyst will play a key part in supporting the organization by analyzing data, evaluating programs, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance educational outcomes for students. The role will help drive data-informed decision-making across the organization to support our commitment to educational access and equity. You will collaborate cross functionally with program teams, development, operations, and leadership to ensure data insights are aligned with BGCP’s mission and vision.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and synthesize information from a variety of sources—including internal surveys, our student information system, public education dashboards, and more—to analyze and interpret programmatic and operational data that supports informed decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with program teams to define meaningful metrics aligned with their strategic objectives and monitor progress over time.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards—primarily in Salesforce and Qualtrics—to track progress toward strategic goals and support grant reporting with timely, data-driven updates.
- Analyze large and complex data sets, translating findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Serve as the Product Owner for Qualtrics, leading the development, distribution, and analysis of BGCP surveys and enrollment applications.
- Facilitate effective communication between I&M team and program teams, promoting a culture of transparency and open dialogue.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify training needs, gather report requirements, and share strategic objective results.
- Conduct complex analyses to identify opportunities for improving functional processes and system performance. Develop and implement strategies to address process gaps and drive operational efficiency.
- Support onboarding by training new team members on essential systems and tools, including best practices for data access and usage.
- Support program teams by developing user guides and delivering training sessions on BGCP software platforms to ensure effective and consistent use.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations that clearly communicate data findings and insights to teams to support informed decision-making.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3-year of progressive experience in business analysis, data analysis or a related field- ideally within the non-profit or educational sector.
- Experience coordinating across teams and managing deliverables and timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively interacting with all levels of employees and stakeholders
- Experience in project management, coordinating workflow activities in a dynamic work environment, and ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
- Advanced experience using MS Office business applications and web-based collaborative platforms, such as Jira, Excel, and Google spreadsheets.
- Experience with Salesforce and Qualtrics or other CRM or data reporting tools preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing strong initiative, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to travel to different club sites as needed for trainings and meetings.
- Strong understanding of BGCP’s mission and commitment to education equity.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Employment Status: Full-Time Salary
- Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000, depending on experience (DOE)
- Health Benefits: You are entitled to company-provided medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as life and long-term disability insurance paid at 100% by BGCP with additional buy up options beginning on your start date

As part of the hiring process, BGCP requires candidates to complete a LiveScan fingerprinting, background check, and tuberculosis (TB) test.
