Job Summary
Boys & Girls Club of Washington County is seeking a passionate, energetic and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team at the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County. The Site Supervisor will oversee the daily operations and activities for our after-school program at our main Brenham site (1710 E Tom Green St), ensuring a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children and youth. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to multi-task, enthusiasm, organizational skills, and a commitment to the positive development of young people.
Job Responsibilities
- Program Supervision: Supervise, coordinate and assist in planning daily program activities, ensuring they align with Boys and Girls Club objectives and values.
- Staff Management: Train, and supervise program staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Youth Engagement: Foster positive relationships with club members, promoting a sense of belonging and participation in club activities.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety and well-being of all club members and staff, maintaining compliance with safety standards and club policies.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and community partners, keeping them informed and involved in club activities.
- Administrative Duties: Complete administrative tasks such as program scheduling, attendance tracking, and scheduled reporting.
- Resource Management: Manage program resources, including supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and maintenance.
- Fundraising Support: Assist with fundraising efforts and events to support club programs and initiatives.
Qualifications and Characteristics Required
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience: Proven experience (1 year) in youth programs, community services, or related roles, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Passion for Youth Development: Genuine interest in and commitment to the positive development of children and youth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and empathetically with youth, parents, staff, and community members.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders, adding value to the team and mission.
- CPR/First Aid Certification: Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Typical Hours of Work during School Year: 1:00 pm-6:30 pm; Mon – Fri
Additional Requirements:
- Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check and child abuse registry check.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for program activities and events.

Knowledge, Skills and Experiences Required
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to read and write effectively.
- First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Valid driver’s license may be required to drive Club vans.
