Job description
Program Assistants typically start at $12 an hour and typically work Monday through Friday between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, with some longer days during school holidays. This position has the ability to have up to 40 hours in the summer.
Responsibilities
· Facilitating activities in a program area (Education, Technology, Sports & Fitness, Social Recreation, and Healthy Lifestyles) and during field trips
· Provide guidance, role modeling, and positive discipline techniques to Club members
· Monitor program areas to ensure Club member safety
We would love to see that you have:
· Experience in working with children
· Knowledge of youth development
· Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems
· Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth
· Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment
· CPR and First Aid Certifications (Club will help with this)
*** Must have high school diploma or GED***
*** Must pass a background check***
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
