Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Helper to provide support and assistance to families with children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young learners and the ability to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. This role involves engaging with children in various activities, assisting with homework, and providing general support in daily routines.
Responsibilities
- Assist children with homework and educational activities, ensuring understanding and engagement.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that align with early childhood education principles.
- Provide childcare support, including supervision during playtime, meals, and rest periods.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning experiences for children.
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress and any concerns.
- Support children in developing social skills through interactive play and group activities.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or classroom setting is preferred.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tutoring methods and lesson planning will be beneficial.
- Strong skills in classroom management to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Experience in childcare that demonstrates the ability to care for and engage young learners effectively.
- A willingness to learn new technologies that can aid in educational support for children.
