Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove is looking to hire Preschool Assistant Teachers!

Preschool Assistant Teachers are under the supervision of a Teacher and Associate Teacher, responsible for supervising a group of children, beginning at 6 months up to 2.5 years old; assisting in planning, organizing, and conducting the daily program activities

Location:
One of Boys & Girls Clubs Early Childhood Program sites – placement will be reevaluated each year or during the year as needed
Schedule/Pay:
Part Time; Up to 29 hours/week M – F, occasional evening hours
Hourly Rate: $19.00/hour
Qualifications:
6 units of CD or ECE and/or ROP Certificate and continuing education
Must have knowledge of child development, early childhood education and developmentally appropriate activities
Must effectively communicate including verbal, written, in small and large group settings with children and adults
Must have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and rapport
Bilingual capabilities preferred
Must maintain valid CPR certification throughout employment through BGCGG CPR Program or through another acceptable CPR certification agency
Must clear screening and background check process
