The Branch Director is responsible for overall branch operations at the assigned site. Responsible for branch management, branch personnel, branch facility management, branch fleet management, safety, and administrative compliance. The goal of the programs is to positively impact the lives of youth through activities and services that measurably and progressively move them individually to attain positive outcomes. At the branches, youth receive targeted services in a safe, supportive environment from staff who believe in the organization’s mission. The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership:

- Work with leadership and management to assist in carrying out responsibilities on personnel matters.
Branch Operations:
- Responsible for branch operations in all areas of facility
- Manage performance to achieve set goals
- Accountable for membership and program fees
Branch Programming:
- Accountable for branch programming in all areas facility
- Accountable for program quality in all areas facility
Administrative Compliance:
- Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time.
- Collect and manage required data and internal and external reporting. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting. Ensure the effective completion of all assessment and measurement activities of programs
- Accountable for accurate and timely collection and review of membership application
- Comply with all administrative policies and procedures, processes and controls
- Accountable for accurate and timely paperwork, reports, and data entry
- Accountable for utilizing all BGCGTC communication tools regularly and effectively
Facility & Child Safety:
- Accountable for adherence to all organizational health and safety policies and implementation of all safety practices and procedures at assigned work location(s)
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect members, staff, equipment, materials, and facilities. Abide by facility maintenance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance
- Accountable for reporting incidents and completing documentation within required timeline
- Maintain discipline, de-escalate conflict between members and/or others
- Obtain and renew CPR and First Aid certification by deadline
Relationships:
- Be a positive role model
- Maintain emotional control and make good decisions under pressure
- Represent the Boys & Girls Club in a positive manner
Attendance:
- Regular attendance is required; arrive on time; punctuality is required
Requirements
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or minimum 2 years related experience
- Experience with management, fiscal responsibility, and youth programming
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work regular branch site hours with some evenings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to attract, train and retain qualified personnel
- Ability to identify, create and offer ongoing support to employees through training, encouragement, and reinforcement in order to breed success and support a positive growth culture
- Effective organizational skills and
- Effective leadership skills
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify needs and find solutions
- Demonstrated success managing relationships with varied community stakeholders.
- Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
- Must have satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual
- Currently certified in CPR/First Aid
- Demonstrated past successful experience managing employee payroll processes, related employee benefit tracking such as absences and hours worked, recruitment/selection of potential employees, discipline, promotion, evaluation, and termination.
- Experience or knowledge of Boys & Girls Club movement (national and/or local)
- Knowledge of program evaluation, data reporting systems, and performance management systems related to youth development programs.
- Knowledge of specific program content areas including at-risk youth, urban environments, educational systems, nutrition, physical fitness, sports, prevention programs, and community-based programs.
Salary & Benefits
- Minimum Salary: $52,800 (exempt full-time)
