- Provide program guidance, implementation strategies and ensure organization deliverables are met.
- Responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs within a designated Club, such as Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education.
- Create a positive club climate.
- Champion community relations and outreach initiatives, fostering relationships in the community.
- Lead, coach and supervise a team of youth development leaders and individual contributors.
- Manage and ensure the best utilization of our facilities, including safety and security.
- Pass a Level II Background Check
- Four-year degree from an accredit college or university or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of teens.
- Leadership and management experience in youth services, family support or K-12 educational setting.
- Proven enthusiastic, positive attitude and effective communication skills and style.
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal and relational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products, Outlook, and internet navigation.
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid & CPR Certification or the ability to obtain these certifications.
- Experience as a youth development professional. High level of energy, flexibility, and work ethics.
- Comfortable performing multi-faceted projects with day-to-day activities.
