The Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui is a youth development program that is open Monday-Friday, afterschool and on school out days. POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Teen Director is responsible for the outreach, planning and implementation of teen programming as directed by the Clubhouse Director. This position provides fun and safe activities in core program areas that may include character and leadership, health and life skills, art, sports and recreation, education and career development. We will train you and provide ongoing support!
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Four year degree in related field from an accredited college or equivalent work experience.
Able to instruct, coach, and direct varied teen activities.
Able to engage youth members and manage behaviors for a safe environment
Exercise independent judgment and initiative within general policy guidelines
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills including an understanding of group dynamics.
Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
