Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our after-school program in Bartow. This is a great opportunity for retirees and individuals seeking part-time hours. As a Bus Driver, you will safely transport students to and from designated locations during after-school hours. The role provides a supportive work environment, as you will have a bus attendant with you at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from after-school activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children while they are on the bus
- Assist with student boarding and disembarking, ensuring safe practices
- Maintain a clean and well-kept bus
- Follow traffic and safety regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to the bus route and safety checks
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Class B Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- Clean driving record and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Successful completion of drug test and background check
- Must be available Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
- Previous experience as a bus driver is preferred, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
