Job Details:
Boys & Girls Clubs part time Program Coordinators plan, implement, supervise and evaluate activities for youth ages 6-18 years old within a specific program area: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) but also may include Physical Education and health, Career and Education, Prevention, Social Recreation, and/or Arts & Crafts programs. We currently have an opening at the Park View Extension Site which is STEM focused. Resumes must be received by January 31, 2025
Required Work Hours: During the school year: Monday - Thursday 2:30 a.m to 7:30 p.m. Fridays and school breaks: 5 hours between 7:30 a.m and 5:30 p.m; shifts vary. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Who you are:
- On your resume.You have a high school diploma or equivalent. You have at least one year of experience with elementary, middle school, and/or teen population. You have documented STEM experience. You have a history of reliability, dependability and punctuality.

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT
- Caring for children can be stressful as well as physically and emotionally demanding.
- Will be required to be on their feet the majority of the time.
- May spend time sitting on the floor or in child sized furniture.
- Must be able to use a variety of janitorial / office equipment including vacuum cleaner, computer, telephone, and / or other equipment.
- Will be expected to clean and maintain equipment and facility, and may move throughout the community with children.
- May come in contact with children who are ill and/or contagious, and must take precautions to ensure the health and safety of all children, parents, staff and themselves.
- Will be working in a busy and occasionally noisy environment. There may be a number of activities and situations happening at once. The program coordinator will have to supervise all children at all times and keep children involved in safe and appropriate activities.
- May experience smells associated with toileting and children who are ill.
- Must be prepared to handle accidents and emergencies at any time.
