Job Description:
The Elementary School Site Leader oversees program operations, managing staff, tracking data, and planning activities to create an enriching experience for students and staff. Together with a team, the school site leader focuses on offering students high quality programing, supporting them in achieving academic success, improving attendance, and building positive behaviors and social-emotional skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Development: Create daily lesson plans in order to facilitate fun, academic programing.
- Operation Management: Develop and maintain a positive Club culture, while organizing programs and events. Additionally, you will track and compile important data and assist with reporting.
- Health and Safety of Members: You will be responsible for supervising program youth and staff, as well as ensuring the health and safety of staff, youth, parents, and visitors.
- Coaching and Team Leadership: You will offer guidance to youth and staff, address their needs, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians. Your role is integral in empowering and inspiring those around you.
- Resources Management: Oversee accurate record-keeping for detailed reporting of activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of professional work experience, with demonstrated experience working with youth.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, encompassing problem-solving, decision-making, and delegation.
- The capacity to effectively and positively manage challenging behaviors, cultivate the potential of young individuals, and maintain exemplary standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced work environments and effectively manage multiple tasks.
The Site Leader (Elementary School) will work from approximately 1:00pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, averaging 25 hours weekly.
This job involves standing for long periods as well as squatting, lifting, twisting, and running.
