JOB TITLE: Branch Director-
Location: Semmes Club

Salary: $40,000 non-exempt (ability to earn overtime)
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Directs and manages overall daily operations of the designated Branch, with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, development and management of budget, safety, community and corporate relations, volunteers, engage advisory council and membership administration.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club professional staff to interpret and explain organizational mission, program objectives and standards, and provide/receive information. Maintains contact with Branch Advisory Council as required. Has regular contact with members as needed to discipline, advise, and counsel.
External: Maintains contact with external community groups, schools, parent groups and others to assist in resolving problems and to publicize Clubs.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Four year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.

A minimum of four years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club, or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.

Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management and the hiring and retention of key personnel.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Demonstrated organization and time-management skills.

Ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.

Ability to deal effectively with members, including discipline problems.

Working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management.

Experience in planning and directing fund-raising events.

Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents and community leaders.

Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier. Will be required to drive van/minibus to transport Club members from schools to Club, and for special events such as field trips.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The employee is subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (in performance of essential functions): This position requires the activities of talking and hearing along with intermittent physical activities of stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, grasping and repetitive motion.
