Officiating Industry Club- Flag Football Concentration Intern plays a key role in ensuring fair play, enforcing rules, and maintaining a positive and safe game environment. This position requires strong leadership, decision-making skills, and obtaining knowledge of football regulations. Interns will learn and work closely with coaches, players, and spectators to uphold the integrity of BGCSM and the game.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the rules and procedures to officiate youth flag football games, ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines.
- Learn and make quick, fair, and accurate decisions on infractions and penalties.
- Ensure player safety by monitoring conduct and equipment compliance.
- Communicate effectively with coaches, players, and spectators.
- Resolve disputes in a professional and unbiased manner.
- Attend industry club sessions and staying updated on rules.
- Inspect the playing field and equipment before each game.
- Maintain accurate records of game scores, penalties, and incidents.
- Promote sportsmanship and provide guidance to young athletes when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
