Reporting to the Education Director/Lead Pre-K Teacher, the Pre-K Teacher Aide is responsible to assist a teacher with all aspects of preparation and delivery of age appropriate, standards-based instruction to children enrolled in the BGCSNV Pre-K program at the Early Childhood Learning (ECL) Center.

Active Participation: Attend all required training sessions, workshops, and meetings scheduled as part of the program.
Commitment to Learning: Complete all assigned training modules, tasks, and assessments in a timely manner.
Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and courtesy toward instructors, fellow participants, and staff.
Communication: Notify program staff in advance regarding absences or delays, and communicate any barriers to participation.
Career Pursuit: Actively seek trade, higher-education, professional certification and/or internal development opportunities aligned with the skills and qualifications gained through the Initiative.
Hours: 8AM-2PM
Compensation: $19 hourly Eligible for full-time benefits after the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.

- Provide the opportunity for all students to learn in a safe, supportive, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment that positively promotes learning.
- Adhere to all standards regarding safety. Make timely reports of any incidents, hazards, or conditions which could affect the safety of children and/or staff.
- Assist with the implementation and/or administration of appropriate curriculum, aligned with the Nevada Pre–K Standards to meet the needs of all students, including but not limited to, students who have been identified as at-risk and above grade level, students with individualized educational programs (IEP), and English language learners (ELL).
- Participate in and ensure assessment regulations and guidelines are followed.
- Collaborate effectively and professionally with administrators, other ECL and BGCSNV staff, parents/guardians, and the community.
- Assist with maintaining appropriate student files, record, and reporting
- Participate in other job-related duties and activities related to the position, as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent. AND Bachelor’s degree in an education related field or Nevada Registry Level 2 or higher is preferred. AND 1,000 hours of direct experience in Pre-K/Early Childhood Education setting. AND Current CPR/AED certificate.
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills. Ability to interact professionally.
- The ability to occasionally work irregular or extended hours.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.), Bright Wheel platform and curriculum, and Infinite Campus platform.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
