Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area is expanding our after school programming to include BeAble tutoring at our elementary school club locations. The BeAble program is a digital assessment and intervention tool that helps educators identify and support students who are struggling with reading. The purpose of the position is to provide academic support to BGCAA Club members in grades K-8 using the BeAble program. As a BeAble tutor, you will work with Club members to help them improve their reading skills through small group tutoring sessions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver scripted BeAble intervention lesson plans.
- Deliver BeAble assessments for BOY, MOY, and EOY.
- Provide small group tutoring and intervention.
- Help students develop study skills and strategies.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Progress Monitoring through BeAble .
- Report any concerns or feedback regarding the program to the Club Director and Director of Academic Success.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
