As a Program Assistant, you’ll play a key role in leading fun and engaging activities, providing academic support, and ensuring that our members have a safe, productive environment.
You’ll support various program areas, assist with meal service, manage group activities, and help with the general upkeep of our Clubhouse.
Whether you're leading a group of 10-15 members or jumping in to cover staff breaks, you'll make a big impact on the lives of young people every day.
What You’ll Do :
- Set and maintain high expectations to inspire and motivate kids.
- Lead group enrichment activities, keeping things fun and productive.
- Assist with meal prep, service, and clean-up.
- Provide targeted academic support and homework help.
- Ensure every child is supervised and engaged.
- Keep accurate attendance records and communicate with leadership about individual needs.
- Foster a positive, supportive environment where teamwork thrives.
- Participate in club-wide events and field trips as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized Clubhouse that promotes safety and learning.
What You Bring :
- A positive, energetic individual with a passion for working with children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate kids using positive reinforcement.
- Flexibility to adapt to different activities and needs.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. High school seniors with an interest in education are encouraged to apply!
Bonus Points If You Have :
- At least 3 months of experience working with children.
- Previous experience working in a group setting with diverse kids.
- A desire to pursue a degree in Education, Child Psychology, Human Development, or Social Work.
Schedule : Part-time Shifts available Mondays Fridays between 2-6pm
Pay : Starting at $15.00 / hour
