What You'll Do:
- Provide essential support to youth through engagement and intervention, utilizing Emotional Wellness core competencies and restorative practices.
- Role model positive behaviors and empower youth with valuable life skills, promoting self-esteem and providing alternatives to negative behavior.
- Work collaboratively with the Emotional Wellness team to track, monitor, and provide tailored interventions to youth who need additional support.
- Create a calming, supportive environment by utilizing the Zen Den for interventions and skill-building.
- Maintain detailed case notes and track progress to ensure the success of each youth you work with.
What You Bring:
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth.
- A compassionate, patient, and flexible attitude, with strong problem-solving and crisis-management skills.
- Experience using behavioral management techniques and supporting youth in challenging situations.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- A commitment to continuous learning, especially in trauma-informed practices, diversity, and inclusion.
- Relevant coursework or degrees in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Advanced knowledge of child/adolescent development, social emotional learning, and trauma-informed care.
- Experience with outcome evaluation and continuous improvement in a human services setting.

Schedule: Part-Time (Mondays - Fridays, School Year: 1- 6pm and Summer: 11:30a - 5pm)
Pay: Starting at $17/hour and up, based on experience for the position
