What You'll Do :

Provide essential support to youth through engagement and intervention, utilizing Emotional Wellness core competencies and restorative practices.

Role model positive behaviors and empower youth with valuable life skills, promoting self-esteem and providing alternatives to negative behavior.

Work collaboratively with the Emotional Wellness team to track, monitor, and provide tailored interventions to youth who need additional support.

Create a calming, supportive environment by utilizing the Zen Den for interventions and skill-building.

Maintain detailed case notes and track progress to ensure the success of each youth you work with.

What You Bring :

At least 1 year of experience working with youth.

A compassionate, patient, and flexible attitude, with strong problem-solving and crisis-management skills.

Experience using behavioral management techniques and supporting youth in challenging situations.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

A commitment to continuous learning, especially in trauma-informed practices, diversity, and inclusion.

Bouns Points For :

Relevant coursework or degrees in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or Counseling.

Advanced knowledge of child / adolescent development, social emotional learning, and trauma-informed care.

Experience with outcome evaluation and continuous improvement in a human services setting.

Schedule : Part-Time or Full-Time Options available (Mondays - Fridays, School Year : 12 or 1p - 6 : 30pm and Summer : 10a or 11 : 30a - 5pm)

Pay : Starting at $17 / hour and up, based on experience for the position
