Duties
- Develop and implement engaging educational programs tailored to the needs of youth.
- Provide tutoring and academic support to students, enhancing their learning experiences.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and resolve conflicts.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and community members to support student development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting programs as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Lead recreational activities and camps that promote teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.
- Provide Christian counseling when appropriate, integrating faith-based principles into development practices.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational or camp setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies.
- Skills in special education practices are a plus.
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively address challenges in a constructive manner.
- Previous experience in babysitting or similar roles is beneficial.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for youth.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and families.

Pay: $11.94 - $12.72 per hour
